The educational process in carried out by high school scientists and lecturers of top qualification among which there are experts in mathematics, economic simulation, computer science and programming. 4 full professors, 9 assistant professors and 4 senior lecturers work at the Department.

The Department trains students in two specialities – Economics Cybernetics (Bachelor and Master) and Applied Economics (Master’s degree).

Students majoring in Economic Cybernetics obtain fundamental training in Mathematics, Economics and Simulation. Fundamental training enables the students and graduates to efficiently work in various spheres: banks, manufacturing enterprises, insurance and investment companies, state and private organizations.

Masters of Applied Economics are trained for social and economic, organizational and managerial, analytical, research and scholastic activity in the field of economic management. This master’s program can be followed by bachelors of different specialities.

The Department actively cooperates with educational institutions of Ukraine and Europe, such as T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Donetsk National University, Sunderland University (Great Britain), Macedonian University (Greece) and Aristotle University (Greece).
