The FoPA (“Future of Public Administration”) project is implemented within the EEA Grants Foundation's “Good Governance and Cross-Border Cooperation” program and aims to improve the integrity and responsibility of public administration. The project involves the institutional cooperation between the Slovak and Ukrainian public institutions. The project is financed from the state budget of the Slovak Republic and the EEA Grants Foundation.
The aim of the project is to improve the public integrity and responsibility in the context of application of the principles of good governance. The transfer of examples of good practice in the sphere of good governance through the dissemination activities will contribute to the networking between experts, support the sharing of new ideas, open the discussion about future cooperation and contribute to the improvement of compliance of high standards of ethical integrity and responsibility.
Promoting social integration and increasing responsibility in the context of application of the principles of good governance is the main goal of the institutional cooperation between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Pavol Josef Šafárik University in Košice within the project.
The expected outputs of the project include the transfer of examples of good practice, exchange of knowledge among experts in public administration, good governance and related mobility between the cooperating institutions. The key output will be the creation of the study course "Competencies of Capacities in Public Institutions", which will be taught at both partner universities during the project, and the creation of corresponding study material (available in multiple languages).
