From the 8 till the 13 of September the Polish and Ukrainian tournament of university football teams took place in the Polish cities Warsaw, Wroclava, Gdans'k and Poznan' where Euro 2012 will be held. Two Ukrainian and three Polish teams played in each city.

The team of our university held elimination games in Gdans'k.

During the first game our footballers yielded to the Gdans'k team with a score 1:6: the reason for that was a long trip from Kharkiv to Gdans'k that took them 40 hours. In the following games with the teams of the Gdans'k polytechnical and Yagilonskiy universities from Krakiv our team showed a pithy football but although yielded with a score 0:1.

Together with our team in Gdans'k there played the footballers from Kharkiv national zooveterinary academy who won in the elimination tournament and reached the final that was held in Warsaw.

Gdans'k university was visited by our students where there was a meeting of the delegation with the vice-president, the head of the Physical training department and the head of the Students' sport club. That meeting gave the opportunity to get acquainted with the Gdans'k university and to compare the methods of the organizing physical training studies and to exchange experiences of the organization and conducting of practical courses in physical and sports education.

There also was a cultural visit of the stadium "PGE ARENA" where there will be the games of EURO 2012 and the excursion along the historical centre of Gdans'k.

In the final of the Polish and Ukrainian tournament of the university football teams "STUDEURO 2011" that took place in Warsaw, the hosts of the competitions won both the game for the third place (the team of Warsaw academy of physical training won Lviv university of land forces 6:1) and the game for the first place where the team of Adam Mickevich university from Poznan won the team of Kharkiv national zooveterinary academy with a score 3:1.
