To efficiently commercialize its scientific, technical and technological developments, Karazin University has created the Innovation Center. Its main tasks are the following:

• to nurture the environment oriented towards effective use of scientific and technological potential of and in the University in order to develop, implement and commercially exploit the new equipment, high technology products, state-of-the-art technologies, materials and other products of the intellectual activity of the University faculty, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students;
• to engage the University faculty, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students in active research in cutting-edge technologies and innovations;
• to develop and implement the innovative approaches and methods into the academic process.

The Innovation Center is responsible for shaping the information base of innovative developments of the University, national and world funds, grants and programs that financially support innovative projects.

Way of the Center’s tasks realization: entering into contracts with international and national financial organizations, institutions and foundations that will fund the developments of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University; concluding contracts on industrial production of devices, goods and other products designed in the University with the involvement of private, mutual and state sources of financing; seeking out and ensuring grants for the University’s faculty.
