The Ukrainian-Polish Academic Center of Science and Culture was founded in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University by the decision of the Academic Board on April 26, 2010. The Center was established with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv to mark the 85th anniversary of the first Polish Consulate in Kharkiv and the 15th anniversary of the new Consulate General of the Republic of Poland.

1. The Center’s activities focus on the following objectives:
2. establishing and developing fruitful academic relations between Karazin University and scientific, educational and cultural institutions of Poland;
3. promoting the integration of classical universities and other educational and scientific institutes into the structures of European educational space;
4. initiating and all-round support of joint projects in the field of education development and academic exchanges;
5. providing advanced language training for students and faculty members for further participation in joint projects with Polish partners;
6. facilitating mutually beneficial advancement of practically oriented projects in different fields of science and technology, of public, economic and cultural development.
