The Ukrainian-German Academic Center was created at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2011. The main tasks of the Center are:

to provide advanced language training for the University students and faculty as well as interested representatives of academic circles of Kharkiv for further realization of joint projects with German partners;
to realize bilateral projects in academic exchanges, joint training programs, grants and research;
to popularize German culture in Ukraine and to present Ukrainian national heritage in Germany and other German-speaking countries.
