The title of a "Visiting professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University" is an official recognition of personal merits and outstanding pedagogical o research contribution of Ukrainian and / or foreign scientists, teachers and researchers.

Awarding the title of a "Visiting professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University" is intended to:

• implement the best world educational and scientific practices in the activities of the University,
• expand and strengthen the ties of the University with leading scientists and educational institutions,
• increase the achievements of the University in the development of international educational and research projects,
• intensify the integration of the University into the world scientific and educational space.

The procedure for awarding the title of a "Visiting professor of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University" is carried out in accordance with the Developmen Strategy of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for 2019–2025 years and is subject to the relevant Regulation
