Biography

Born: April 15, 1944, Kharkiv.

Graduated from M. Gorky Kharkiv State University (1972), field: Political Economy.

Has worked at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University since 1972 (Instructor, Associate Professor at Department of Economic Theory and Economic Methods of Management, School of Economics. Dean, School of Economics (1996-1999). First Vice-President (since 1999).

Has published 38 scientific publications, 18 textbooks (since 2001). Postgraduate students’ supervision (7 got PhD degrees, and 8 are currently working on PhD dissertations).

Courses taught: Economic History, Basics of Market Economy, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics.

Member of: the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Senate, Board of the School of Economy, participant in the international TASIS Program. Significant contributor to the development of research in Social Economy.

Merited Educator of Ukraine Title (2003) for extraordinary achievements in training highly qualified specialists.

Distinguished for the high level of education process organization, enjoys respect both among students and staff.
